The new Future' saddle will enable you to do this, but how?

​

The revolutionary new design of the Future saddle will increase freedom of movement of the horses shoulder as it rotates; this will enable the horse to lengthen its stride with minimal interference from the saddle.

How is this achieved?

​

After extensive research and consultation with SMS qualified saddle fitters, physiotherapists and a variety of equestrian establishments involving various disciplines, our design team have developed a new panel and flap concept which will enable riders to push their boundaries.

Traditionally, the cut of the panel used on most Jump, GPs and Event saddles follows the line of the top flap however;   the panel at the front of the Future saddle has been cut away so that it can sit comfortably behind the shoulder enabling the horse to move freely.

This concept has been tried before and failed due to the front flap collapsing where the supporting panel had been removed. The Future Saddle overcomes this by reinforcing the flap at the front, thus preventing the flap collapsing. The development has taken over 2 years to perfect.

Will the cut of the panel interfere with the riders position?

​

This will not affect the rider as the design of the flap has remained largely unchanged; this is possible because we have reinforced the flap at the front to provide essential balance and stability for the riders leg.

​

The reinforced section of the flap will also prevent it from collapsing against the horses shoulder and interfering with movement. In addition riders will also be able to choose their preferred style of knee and thigh blocks.

​

As with saddles from Platinum and Harry Dabbs Original, the back of the panel is designed to leave the horses back sooner reducing pressure on the sensitive loin area; this in turn encourages the horse to lift through the back and engage the powerful hind quarters.

​

The Panel is cut away to enable more freedom of movement. The flap is reinforced to prevent it collapsing.
