Selling Your Saddle

OPTION 1 : Sales on Behalf of Yourself

We are happy to purchase your saddle if it is one which fits within our criteria. Simply send us 3 photos showing top & both side views, and a photo showing any stamped wording under the flap, to info@saddle4you.co.nz with the size, age and condition of your saddle also the price you would like to achieve.

We will then give you:

a) The current market value.
b) The price we would buy the saddle outright for.

All saddles which are sent to us which are (in our opinion) in a condition which will not help acheive an optimum sale (ie. dirty, mouldy, dry leather etc) will be cleaned & leather conditioned. If this is necessary a $30 charge will be made to cover cleaning time & conditioning products.

PAYMENT TERMS.

All saddles bought by Saddle4You are inspected and subject to the terms listed below:

1. All saddles are inspected to be sound and as described.

2. Saddle4You wish to protect ourselves and our customers from coming in to contact with stolen or fraudulently obtained goods, we therefore advertise them with a photo on our website for 14 days to allow anyone to make any claims against such saddles & give the public confidence we make every effort to only purchase genuine articles.

3. Payments will only be made by bank transfer or cheque to the address where saddle was sent and collected from.

4. Saddle4You  therefore asks sellers to allow 21 days from saddles being checked to receiving payments.

5. We reserve the right to return the saddle to you at your cost, if it is not as described, or is damaged ie. broken tree etc. Saddles must be in good condition, clean and free of mold and mildew.  The cleaner your saddle the faster we can sell it!  Any repairs needed must be completed and paid for prior to sending to SADDLE4YOU.  We will NOT accept to sell any plain flap saddles, brown dressage saddles, dirty and/or moldy saddles, old synthetic saddles or saddles in need of repair or missing pieces, broken trees etc.  

OPTION 3 : Privately Advertise Your Saddle On Saddle4You

To advertise your saddle in our 'Private Saddle Sales' section simply e-mail the details of your saddle along with a picture and your contact details to: sue@saddle4you.co.nz

We will then contact you for credit card payment or pay online though our PAYPAL service.

Please Note: 'Saddle4You' does not handle the sale of your saddle. You will need to take enquires and arrange the sale of the saddle including delivery with the customer. However, we can offer you advice on selling your saddle.
